The voltage in Germany is 230 V. European-style round two-pin plugs are in use.
The organizers are not liable for damages and/or losses of any kind which may be incurred by the congress participants or by any other individuals accompanying them, both during the official activities as well as going to/from the congress. Participants are responsible for their own safety and belongings.
Nationals of EU countries are allowed to enter the Federal Republic of Germany without a visa.

Requesting a visa to enter Germany
You must submit your visa application and the required supporting documentation to the German Consulate/Embassy relevant to your country of residence.
Please include with your visa application documentation the Summit Invitation Letter (in addition to the Visa Invitation Letter) sent earlier to you (or to your Minister, for the members of the official delegations and accompanying persons OR other participants).
To request a letter of invitation in order to attend the symposium, please send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org indicating your name, gender, birth date, nationality, passport no., expiry date, address and German embassy or consulate to apply to for visa.
Fees for visa applications are at the responsibility of the delegate.
